Second Life - A virtual 3D world

What’s to do there? Much. Meeting people of all sorts is a big part. It’s a bit like the old chat groups, but more so. You can search on pretty much any topic and find a large number of places. Some are almost devoid of people and others so crowded you can’t move.

The visual aspect is what makes this a remarkable place. And it is mostly designed and built by the people who log in. Here, your imagination is truly the only limit.

I have been building, learning the scripting language, and gotten involved with the NonProfit Center (NPC).

Conferences, conventions, workshops, classes, and meetings can all be held in second life. In addition, they can be held in conjunction with real life events with interaction.
